Foundry "Pjastera" possesses two open induction furnaces with the capacity of 280 and 500 kg / batch.
Induction furnace of 280 kg is aproduced by Bulgarian company Mehatronika-Gabrovo, and the furnace of 500 kg capacity is the product of American company Inductotherm.
For heat treatment of castings used chamber furnace capacity of approximately 600 kg of castings / batch.
For castings used RAFAMA table grinder, hand tools for grinding,cutting and finishing, shot blasting machine made by Gostol, Slovenia.
Control of input raw material chemical composition , melted metal and finished castings are done by optical spectrometer SPECTROMAXx having ability to determine the content up to 30 elements.
In addition, the castings` control is done by ultrasound and device for hardness measuring.
